Dr. Joseph Danquah

Academic, HR, and Capacity-Building Experts - Member of the Steering Committee

    Dr. Joseph Kwadwo Danquah is a scholar in Human Resource and Human Capital Development with research interests spanning human resource management and development, strategic HRM, capacity building, SME development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and managerial effectiveness. He is particularly interested in how technology, digital transformation, and information systems influence HR practices and organisational performance, especially within the context of emerging economies. Dr. Danquah holds a multidisciplinary academic background, including a degree in Agriculture Technology, a master’s in Human and Organisational Capacity Building for Development, and a PhD in Human Resource Development. His research integrates theory and practice to explore how HR systems, digital capabilities, and institutional capacities can be strengthened for sustainable development across public and private sectors. He is actively involved in postgraduate supervision, academic consultancy, and interdisciplinary research on digital HR transformation, e-learning systems, and the role of information systems in capacity development, particularly within SMEs and the public sector in Africa.
