Mr. Ekow Sintim Aboagye

Mr. Ekow Sintim Aboagye is a strategic leader and Innovation Management Lead at Siemens Energy, where he drives initiatives and partnerships that advance sustainable energy solutions across the Middle East and Africa. His career spans renewable energy, mobility, and decarbonization, with extensive experience shaping growth strategies and guiding major energy transitions. Prior to Siemens Energy, Ekow worked in strategy consulting at KPMG, advising global firms on innovation and transformation.

He holds two MSc degrees – an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Management from Imperial College Business School and an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from Cranfield University – bringing together strong technical expertise and deep business acumen. His work covers the entire energy value chain, from renewables and electric vehicles to mining and energy finance. Ekow will chair the Digital Intelligence for Africa’s Distributed Energy Future Track at AFDEG, reflecting his commitment to leveraging innovation and collaboration to shape Africa’s sustainable energy transition.
